Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Regulation Manager to join our team at Page Group. As a Manager, Energy Regulation and Policy, you will play a key role in contributing to the team's energy networks business.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have specific responsibilities for contributing towards the team's energy networks business. You will work closely with sector and subject matter experts to gain an in-depth understanding of Ofgem's RIIO price controls and its wider regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of regulatory strategies for energy network clients.
- Work closely with sector and subject matter experts to stay up-to-date on regulatory policy developments.
- Build relationships with key clients across the sector, as well as with other advisors.
- Advise on regulatory strategy, price controls, and policy developments.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, including report drafting, economic analysis, and client engagement.
- Coach and mentor junior staff on specific projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in the utilities sector, either in industry, at a regulator, or as a consultant. You will have knowledge of regulatory frameworks for utility companies, micro-economics, and regulatory finance. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, able to bring new insights to help clients navigate complex regulatory issues.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000 PA DOE, plus car allowance and bonus. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply.
