Energy Regulation Policy Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our Energy Regulation and Policy team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our energy networks business and working closely with sector and subject matter experts on Ofgem's RIIO price controls and its wider regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the team's energy networks business, including advising on regulatory strategy and all core elements of regulated price controls.
- Work closely with sector and subject matter experts on Ofgem's RIIO price controls and its wider regulatory framework.
- Build relationships with key clients across the sector, as well as with other advisors.
- Advise on regulatory policy developments, including the evolving institutional arrangements within the sector.
- Provide energy regulation expertise in terms of major transactions.
- A real passion and desire to build your understanding of the key policy and regulatory drivers in the energy networks, including developing a detailed understanding of the applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in the utilities sector, in industry, at a regulator, civil servant, or as a consultant, with a passion to grow that experience through tackling big picture and strategic problems.
- Comfortable in dealing with quantitative data and detailed analytical concepts, with knowledge and experience of both microeconomics and regulatory finance.
- A high level of academic achievement, with a postgraduate degree desirable.
- A self-starter, bringing your whole self to work, with a passion and enthusiasm to grow and develop in a high-performing environment.
£45,000 - £65,000 PA DOE plus benefits and bonus
