We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our Rapid Response Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in mental health crisis, working closely with mental health professionals to provide person-centered interventions and assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the mental health professional to the location required, providing basic first aid if necessary, and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Support carers and loved ones at scene, enabling the Rapid Response practitioner to focus on their assessment/intervention.
- Assist with data entry, care note requirements, and clinical entries.
- Contribute to improving access to supportive services for individuals in mental health crisis.
- Experience working in mental health services or a care setting, with a willingness to enhance your skills.
- Knowledge of factors impacting safety and service user experience.
- Knowledge of factors impacting safety for emergency service colleagues.
- Full driving license and ability to drive across the Trust site in the mental health vehicle provided.
