About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our Rapid Response Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in mental health crisis, working closely with mental health professionals to provide person-centered interventions and assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the mental health professional to the location required, providing basic first aid if necessary, and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Support carers and loved ones at scene, enabling the Rapid Response practitioner to focus on their assessment/intervention.
  • Assist with data entry, care note requirements, and clinical entries.
  • Contribute to improving access to supportive services for individuals in mental health crisis.
Requirements
  • Experience working in mental health services or a care setting, with a willingness to enhance your skills.
  • Knowledge of factors impacting safety and service user experience.
  • Knowledge of factors impacting safety for emergency service colleagues.
  • Full driving license and ability to drive across the Trust site in the mental health vehicle provided.
