Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Rapid Response Support Worker to join our team in the Sussex region.

This role offers a guaranteed hours contract, paying an enhanced salary, mileage, and eventually a Company Car.

As a Rapid Response Support Worker, you will have the ability and flexibility to work across all of our clients in Sussex, covering a wide range of ages and medical needs.

This position is perfect for a Senior Support Worker with experience in Complex Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full personal care to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • Assist clients with moving and handling, including the use of a hoist.
  • Manage client seizures, including administering emergency medication and VNS.
  • Administer complex care to clients, including PEG feeding, ventilator care, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
  • Follow client care plans, as advised by the Nurse Manager.
  • Prioritize client wellbeing and raise any safeguarding concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a UK care environment.
  • Strong complex care experience.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
