Our client is seeking a Teaching Support Professional to join their dedicated support staff team at a Primary Academy in Brent. As a Teaching Support Professional, you will be working 1:1 with identified pupils to deliver bespoke support to children with special educational needs, supervising and engaging children in learning and play activities, and closely working with pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Early Years curriculum, be confident and calm when managing challenging behaviour, and have experience working with challenging behaviour. This is a long term role for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. The estimated salary for this role is £80-95 per day. We are looking for someone who can adapt their support and approach according to the needs of the children, and work as part of a team to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible education and care. The role involves removing children from class when their behaviours are disruptive, and adapting your support and approach according to the needs of the children. This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
