We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a leading care home in the Carlisle area. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and services to our residents, while also supporting the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the care team to deliver high-quality care and services that promote choice and independence for our residents.
  • Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, and care plans are adhered to.
  • Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare, and training, and develop an excellent reputation for the care home.
  • Develop personal relationships with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance their quality of life.
  • Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
  • Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the care home, and alert the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
  • Ensure that the care team attends training days and courses to ensure learning records are maintained and individuals are developed.
