Financial Planning and Analysis Lead EMEA

Recurrent Energy is a leading global solar and energy storage project development, ownership, and operations platform.

We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc. and function as Canadian Solar's global development and power services business.

This role will be responsible for all FP&A activities in EMEA, serving as a business partner for country leaders to optimize forecasts, manage risks, and drive financial performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reporting process for the EMEA region, including budget preparation, business planning, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and consolidate budget processes, including forecasting models and database files.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing, conducting account reconciliations and analysis as required.
  • Monitor regional cash flow positions on a weekly basis.
  • Elaborate reports and build new analysis ad hoc for management.
  • Liaise with other regions and the headquarters to provide required information and data.
  • Coordinate FP&A team members in EMEA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of experience in a finance department, preferably 2+ years in accounting.
  • ~Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with people management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform related functions in adherence to regulations, laws, policies, and standards.
  • Computer literacy, including effective skills in SAP, MS Office (strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge), Tipalti, and Xero.

Based in the EMEA region, available to travel frequently to main locations (UK, Spain, Italy).
