Financial Planning and Analysis Lead EMEA

Recurrent Energy, a leading global solar and energy storage project development, ownership, and operations platform, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional to lead our EMEA region.

About the Role

This is a critical leadership position that will be responsible for all FP&A activities in EMEA, working closely with country leaders to optimize forecasts, manage risks, and drive improvements to financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the reporting process for the EMEA region, including budget preparation, business planning, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and consolidate budget processes, including forecasting models and database files.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing, conducting account reconciliations and analysis as required.
  • Monitor regional cash flow positions on a weekly basis.
  • Elaborate reports and build new analysis ad hoc for management.
  • Liaise with other regions and the headquarters to provide required information and data.
  • Coordinate FP&A team members in EMEA.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • ~5+ years of experience in a finance department, preferably 2+ years in accounting.
  • ~Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience along with people management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform related functions in adherence to regulations, laws, policies, and standards.
  • Computer literacy, including effective skills in SAP, MS Office (strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge), Tipalti, and Xero.
