Mental Health Support Specialist

Main Responsibilities
As a Support Worker within Gray Healthcare, you will join a specialist team supporting an individual with complex mental health needs in their own home. We provide individually tailored community-based support for individuals with complex mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and brain injuries.
You will be an instrumental part of the team and will receive outstanding clinical support, leadership, and person-centred training. In this role, you will support an individual to develop or regain life skills, assisting participation in community life by building strong and trusting working relationships.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who share our values, understand the importance of a consistent and empathetic approach, whilst staying calm and professional when presented with a pressurised situation. You need to be a team player with effective communication skills, be experienced in using digital records and care plans, and electronic rostering systems.
You will need to possess an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards. You will be motivated and have a can-do attitude, and work within a Positive Behaviour Support Framework.

Job Requirements
Shifts are 12 hours and sleep shifts are available too, paid at a generous fixed rate. This role requires a male candidate with experience in complex cases.
