About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at ConvaTec. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our public-facing customer service teams and fast-moving distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and effective technical resolutions to issues and problems raised by end-users.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and management of network and infrastructure systems, including cabling, routing, WiFi, and security.
  • Configure and manage servers, including setup, management, and security.
  • Support the installation and validation of software and applications.
  • Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, and remote connection.
  • Escalate complex issues to second-line support teams as needed.
  • Document and report on technical issues and resolutions.
  • Manage and control assets and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, issues, and problems raised by end-users.
  • Provide face-to-face support and troubleshooting for Amcare systems, applications, and hardware.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support in a large office environment.
  • Degree in an ICT-related discipline.
  • Proven understanding of best practices in ITIL, change management, and service delivery.
  • Experience with warehouse and distribution center systems is desirable.
  • Experience with public-facing contact centers is desirable.
