Deputy Manager / Home Manager Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to take on a challenging role as a Deputy Manager / Home Manager in a children's residential setting. This full-time, permanent position comes with an excellent salary of £15.44 per hour for a 40-hour work week plus £70.50 for sleep-in.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager / Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that exemplary standards in care are maintained while adhering to regulatory compliance. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting children and young people aged between 8-25 years.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within a children's residential setting.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Understanding of Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation for children's services.
  • Solid knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices.
  • Effective organisational skills and proficiency in computer literacy.
