Position Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic Drama department, inspiring the next generation of learners. The role entails fostering a love for the arts and equipping students with essential skills for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Drama department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Drama.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Drama, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
