Main Responsibilities

The Multi Skilled Flexi Operative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating equipment to the required standards, ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Completing food safety and quality testing throughout the shift to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Taking ownership of the relevant area, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring audit readiness at all times.
  • Escalating issues related to safety, quality, costs, or production plan delivery to the team leader or shift engineer.
  • Completing relevant paperwork to the required standards on time.
  • Participating in changeovers and clean downs to expected standards on time.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • An acceptable level of English understanding to comply with and understand all verbal and written communication.
  • Numerical literacy, including the ability to use a calculator and understand percentages.
  • The ability to identify non-conformances in the working area.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate and communicate performance issues and opportunities.
  • A good understanding of KPIs and how a factory works.
