Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met through effective care planning.
- Lead shifts, ensuring all staff are informed and tasks are completed efficiently, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Support and supervise junior staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Plan and arrange social, recreational, and educational activities, including outings and holidays, to promote residents' well-being and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, care plans, and daily logs, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Work collaboratively with families, advocates, and external professionals to support residents' well-being and achieve positive outcomes.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential setting with children or young people.
- NVQ 3/Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience in leading a team and managing staff, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
