About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and efficient administrative professional to join our urology department as a Urology Support Secretary. This part-time role involves providing crucial administrative support to the medical team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the medical team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage inpatient waiting lists, utilizing sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to departmental policies.
- Operate office equipment and manage supplies effectively.
- Contribute to improved service delivery by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent certifications.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a clerical post.
Person Specification:
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible working arrangements considered.
This role demands strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours.
Remuneration:
The annual salary for this position is £24,071 - £25,674 pro rata, dependent on experience.
