**Job Title:** Finance Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team at Reed Boardall Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance function, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Raise sales invoices in a timely and accurate manner, and deal with billing enquiries efficiently and sensitively.
  • Support our Payroll assistants in processing the weekly payroll for all departments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process and maintain purchase ledger records, ensuring timely and quality financial processing is provided and maintained in accordance with our procedures.
  • Check customers' credit and approve or deny applications based on company standards and requirements, and ensure customers pay on time and chase any overdue invoices.
  • Produce and develop reports for internal stakeholders on a weekly or ad-hoc basis.
  • Support the Management Accountant in preparing and analysing the management accounts where required.

**Requirements and Skills:**

  • Knowledge of general IT systems and applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.
  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
  • Experience of maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Experience of prioritising workload, time management, and dealing with conflicting priorities.

**Desirable Skills:**

  • Previous experience of general financial administrative practices and procedures.
  • Experience with Pegasus Opera 3 (Payroll and Accounts Package).
  • Experience of producing financial documentation using information technology.

**Working Hours:** Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (40 Hours)
