About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits to identify and report any faults or defects.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in the coordination of maintenance schedules and tasks to minimize disruptions to services.
  • Participate in a on-call rota to provide emergency maintenance support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
