About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wheel Maintenance Technician to join our team at Greater Anglia. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out Post Tyre Turning checks, minor modifications, and activities on our Stadler fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Post Tyre Turning Checks (PTTC) on the Stadler fleet in accordance with the Stadler VMI and relevant local procedures and SSOWs.
  • Provide support to the depot utilities function, including executing minor modifications and activities on the fleet.
  • Act as a Duty Site Manager as required, covering roster and ensuring the smooth operation of the depot.
  • Notify the appropriate party of any plant, tool, or equipment defects and assist in providing safe and effective plant and works equipment.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with fleet maintenance and operational tasks, as well as asset and information system knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels and possess the aptitude and interpersonal skills to encourage productive teamwork.
  • Engineering apprenticeship, city and guilds (or comparable) qualifications, and relevant experience.
