Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Dunnock View in Clacton-on-Sea. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the service's facilities are well-maintained and safe for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring the service's facilities, buildings, and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Utilize good DIY skills to ensure the safety of residents is maintained.
  • Assist in regular checks and maintenance to identify and repair any faults.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of all buildings, including decorating.
  • Liaise with a manager to report all faults and defects.
  • Participate in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
  • Coordinate and support contractors while on site and complete all paperwork and tool checks.
Requirements
  • Comply with systems and procedures.
  • Have previous experience in a maintenance role.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Show courtesy and respect to residents at all times to ensure they receive the highest quality of service.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
