About the Role:A fantastic SEN school in Swanley is looking for a dynamic and committed SEN Teacher to join their team. As an Academic Special Needs Education Professional, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment tailored to the unique needs of each student.
You will develop individualised learning plans that promote engagement, independence, and social skills. Your expertise as a SEN Teacher with experience in SEN will help support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs.
The School:The successful candidate will be joining an outstanding SEN school in Swanley, Kent, for children with severe and profound learning difficulties. The school provides a range of unique enabling environments, both indoor and outdoor, which are used to maximise learning opportunities and meet pupils' specific needs.
The students gain independence and life skills through these environments. As an Academic Special Needs Education Professional, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and educational psychologists, to develop and implement personalised educational programs.
You will foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere, monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as needed. You will engage with parents and caregivers to support student development at home and in school.
