Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to work as part of our Community Mental Health Team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a member of our team, you will provide expert psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy services to adults with mental health needs. Your duties will include providing a Psychology and Psychological Therapies service to people, local clinical leadership, coordination, and supervision for trainees and volunteers, and carrying a specialist caseload of clients. You will be supported by senior colleagues within your specialist field and receive regular professional and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and Professional Practice Guidelines set out by the British Psychological Society or appropriate designated Professional Body.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assess, formulate, and treat individuals with mental health needs using evidence-based psychological therapies.
  • To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/local team.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of services aimed at improving mental health outcomes for adults in the community.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
