Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to work at Brainkind Neurological Centre York. This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate the provision of high-quality holistic person-centred care and support to our service users, while providing direct supervision, coaching and mentoring to junior staff.

About Us

Brainkind Neurological Centre York provides specialist neurological care for people aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions. Our centre offers tailored care and support to optimise health and wellbeing, maximise independence and meet emotional and social needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate care and support tasks, ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local policy, procedures, guidelines and legislation.
  • Promote choice and review individual experiences, enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely.
  • Demonstrate leadership and supervision skills.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • 2 years relevant care work experience.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience or qualifications.

This role requires working on a rolling 4-week rota, including weekends and bank holidays. The estimated salary is £32,500 per annum.
