Job Role: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our occupational therapy team as an assistant. The successful candidate will support senior staff in the care and activities planning process, assisting with tests, exercises, and examinations as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior staff in the care and activities planning process
  • Assist with the preparation, planning, and delivery of group and one-to-one occupational, therapeutic, and recreational activities
  • Ensure the effective, timely, and accurate updating of clinical records, case files, and computerised information systems
  • Contribute to surveys, audits, and clinical research projects

Requirements: A good level of education up to 'A' level standard is required, and a willingness to undergo some therapy training is desirable. Experience in working in a Mental Health setting would be an advantage.
