Job Summary

Full-time Occupational Therapist Position in Thurrock

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic community service in Thurrock. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation assistants to provide high-quality patient-centered care. Our service supports a diverse range of patients, including those with neurological, orthopedic, falls, long-term conditions, frailty, and musculoskeletal issues.

Main Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist in our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist holistic assessments and interventions, as well as expert advice on clinical recommendations to multidisciplinary teams. You will also support junior staff and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and approachable team, with a strong focus on maintaining independence, promoting self-care, and assisting patients to achieve their goals. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including patients' homes and our on-site gym.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working at B5/B6 level, previous NHS experience, a degree in Occupational Therapy, and HCPC registration. You will also need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of OT processes, including patient-centered care, holistic assessment, and intervention planning.
