Real-Time Performance Specialist

Oxa is revolutionizing transportation through advanced autonomous solutions. We're seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join our Evaluators, Metrics, and Tooling platform team.
Job OverviewThis role focuses on developing tools and workflows to measure real-time autonomy software performance. You will work closely with core robotics engineers to assess Motion Planning performance and evaluate its deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining high-quality processes and APIs to generate performance signals and create meaningful metrics
- Building and owning necessary tools and planning evaluation frameworks
- Contributing to the engineering lifecycle, including scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Verifying and validating through on-road testing and scenario simulation
- Degree in Robotics or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics)
- Solid foundational knowledge of Robotics technologies and their operation
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining pipelines and tools for real-time engineering operations and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics
- Professional experience in modern C++ (STL, testing frameworks) and Python for software development
- Ability to develop high-quality APIs and code documentation
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, code reviews, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile practices
- £90,000 per annum, plus benefits package including company share program, hybrid work arrangements, fully funded relocation support, and pet-friendly office environment
