BMS Performance is a well-established and reputable business within a larger investment group, boasting a turnover in excess of £1 billion. As a cash-rich company, they are always on the lookout for strategic acquisitions.
The company has a rich history, dating back to the 1970s, and has cultivated a market-leading reputation for providing industry-leading plumbing & heating equipment to their clients.
About the Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a territory covering a specific region. In your first three months, you will receive a comprehensive induction, spending time in each department of the business with a training guide to complete.
Your primary focus will be on managing existing clients, while also having the opportunity to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will represent a diverse portfolio of products, including plumbing and heating supplies from major brands.
You will be selling to independent plumbing merchants, with a focus on account management, which accounts for 90% of your client base. You can expect to conduct around 6 meetings per day.
