We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team in Community Neuro Rehab at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in neuro rehabilitation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients with complex neurological conditions
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Supervise and appraise Band 5 colleagues, Therapy Assistants, and students
  • Participate in the Band 6 Physiotherapy forum to share best practices and learn from peers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Strong clinical experience in neuro rehabilitationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong rehabilitation focus and ability to provide acute assessments and treatment plansAbility to complete effective and regular liaison and joint working with the MDT
