Job Title: Occupational Therapy Specialist - Neuro Rehabilitation

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapy Specialist, providing expert care and support to patients with complex neurological conditions in our level 2 neuro rehab unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct holistic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective rehabilitation outcomes
  • Engage in community activities and complete access and home visits to facilitate assessments and discharges
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC and degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Proven experience working in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a neurological environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing and treating patients with complex neurological conditions
  • Ability to work at band 6 level or above, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
