About the RoleThis role offers a unique opportunity for a Medical Imaging Professional to work in a variety of settings, from outpatient departments to inpatient wards. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in different areas of ultrasound and receive full clinical support.
You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of ultrasound examinations and producing accurate medical reports. Your ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough ultrasound examinations and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain your knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
- Act as a mentor and trainer for junior staff members.
- A postgraduate diploma in medical ultrasound or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration as a radiographer or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position comes with a competitive salary range of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata.
