We are recruiting a highly skilled and empathetic Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wrexham.

About the Role

This dynamic opportunity involves providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a secondary school setting.

As a key member of our educational community, you will work closely with teachers and parents to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.

  • Deliver personalized support to students with diverse needs, using engaging teaching methods and strategies to meet their individual learning objectives.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach to education.
  • Contribute to lesson planning and preparation, utilizing your skills and expertise to enhance the educational experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children or adults with SEND or similar educational settings.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with special needs, combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS check and EWC clearance.
