**Job Summary**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a secondary mainstream school in South Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will provide academic support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and contribute to the overall learning environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and support pupils with SEN during lessons and activities, ensuring their safety and accessibility to learning materials.
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers, communicating effectively to promote understanding and inclusion.
  • Promote a positive and respectful learning environment, encouraging pupils to take ownership of their actions and behaviors.

**Requirements**

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary and Benefits**

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including free child protection training, enhanced DBS checks, and opportunities for professional development.
