Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Specialist to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ergonomics work analysis, providing recommendations to address ergonomic risk factors, and contributing to the definition of specifications and subcontractor piloting.

About the Role:

This is a 12-month contract position with a salary of up to £45p/h (Inside IR35). The ideal candidate will have a degree-level education in Ergonomics/Human Factors and experience in identifying ergonomics risk factors in the workplace, proposing risk mitigation solutions, and developing technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Assembly/Installation activities to identify ergonomics risks
  • Develop and implement ergonomic action plans to mitigate risks
  • Support building and validating ergonomics strategies with senior leaders
  • Contribute to the definition of specifications and subcontractor piloting
  • Maintain an up-to-date Ergonomics Tactical Implementation plan
  • Develop solutions for risk and hazard reduction using a technical, organisational, and training approach

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Ergonomics/Human Factors
  • Experience in human factor sciences, work physiology, biomechanics, or cognition
  • Background in identifying ergonomics risk factors and proposing risk mitigation solutions
  • Strong technical skills in assessment tools, technical report writing, and solution development
