Job Description:

This role as an Ergonomics Consultant requires a deep understanding of human factors principles and practices. You will work closely with our team to conduct detailed analyses, develop targeted solutions, and implement process improvements.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in Ergonomics/Human Factors, experience in identifying and mitigating ergonomics risks, and excellent technical skills. This is a 12-month contract position offering a competitive salary of up to £45p/h (Inside IR35).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze workflows and processes to identify ergonomic risks
  • Develop and implement ergonomic action plans to reduce risks
  • Contribute to specification development and subcontractor selection
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date ergonomics implementation plans
  • Develop and recommend technical solutions to mitigate hazards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-level qualification in Ergonomics/Human Factors or related field
  • Strong background in human factor sciences, work physiology, and biomechanics
  • Proven experience in mitigating ergonomics-related risks and improving workplace safety
  • Excellent technical skills, including report writing and data analysis
