Job Overview:
This Workplace Safety Expert role involves conducting comprehensive ergonomic assessments, analyzing workflows, and implementing measures to reduce ergonomic-related risks. The successful candidate will also contribute to defining project specifications and collaborating with subcontractors.
About the Position:
This 12-month contract position offers a competitive salary of up to £45p/h (Inside IR35) and comes with a unique opportunity to grow your expertise in ergonomics consulting. As a key member of our team, you'll be working on high-profile projects that make a significant impact on industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough ergonomic assessments to identify potential risks
- Develop targeted interventions to minimize risks and improve workflows
- Collaborate with senior leaders to validate ergonomics strategies
- Participate in specification development and subcontractor selection
- Maintain accurate records of ergonomics implementation plans
- Design and implement effective solutions for reducing hazards
Essential Skills:
- Degree-level qualification in Ergonomics/Human Factors or related field
- Extensive knowledge of human factor sciences, work physiology, and biomechanics
- Proven track record of mitigating ergonomics-related risks and improving workplace safety
- Excellent technical skills, including report writing and data analysis
