The Job Description

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will have excellent teaching skills and be able to inspire a love for literature and language in students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Student Engagement: Inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking through creative and innovative teaching methods.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress, evaluate learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and respect.

Estimated Salary: £18,750 - £28,500 per annum (based on 190 days)
