Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Nevilles Court. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Nurse in Charge/Manager to ensure the Support Workers and Care Assistants are carrying out all delegated tasks to a high standard.
  • Assist in meeting the personal needs of the service users in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.
  • Help in the care of the service user's physical environment and in the general day-to-day activities of the Home.
  • Assist service users who need help with personal care, including assisting with use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
  • Assist professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists, and chiropodists, as necessary.
  • Read and write reports, take part in staff and service users' meetings, and participate in training activities as directed.
  • Report any changes in residents' condition to the Nurse in Charge/Manager.
  • Record incidents to residents, staff, or visitors in the Accident Book or other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Safe Handling of Medication Certificate
  • Medical qualification and experience
Working Hours:

Predominantly nights, covering x3 shifts one week and x4 shifts the following week on a rotational basis.

Hourly Rate:

£12.25 per hour
