Job Role

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Nevilles Court. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our care staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Nurse in Charge/Manager to ensure that care staff are carrying out delegated tasks to a high standard.
  • Assisting care staff to fulfill their roles and providing feedback on areas of concern or positive interactions and outcomes.
  • Assisting in meeting the personal needs of residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.
  • Helping to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Assisting with the administration of medication and recording relevant documentation.
  • Contributing to the assessment of need for each resident and developing and carrying out an appropriate care plan.
  • Assisting with risk assessments and ensuring that all risk assessment proposals are carried out.
  • Assisting with supervisions and appraisals of care staff.
  • Assisting with Health and Safety issues, including reporting any dangers to self and others.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 Safe Handling of Medication Certificate.
  • Medical qualification and experience.
Working Hours

This role is for 40 hours per week, with a predominately night shift pattern covering x3 shifts one week and x4 shifts the following week on a rotational basis.

Hourly Rate

The hourly rate for this role is £12.25 per hour.
