About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Trading Specialist to join our team at Lily's Kitchen. As a key member of our Digital Merchandising team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our online channels and ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website Merchandising and Content Editing
    • Collaborate with international teams to ensure that our EU magazine websites are up-to-date and aligned with our brand strategy.
    • Execute agreed changes on our EU magazine websites, ensuring that all content is accurate and visually appealing.
    • Upload promotion content and test promotion setup to drive sales and engagement.
    • Upload new product content for launches and updates, ensuring that all product information is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Merchandise product listings to optimize sales and customer experience.
    • Report on website performance KPIs and work with the Trading Manager to optimize plans and improve results.
    • Manage the Feefo review platform product catalogue to ensure that all products are accurately represented.
    • Execute website content update requests from Customer Care, Marketing, and NPD departments, ensuring that all changes are implemented efficiently and effectively.
    • Identify and escalate bugs on the websites to ensure that our customers have a seamless shopping experience.
    • Act as a guardian of the online customer journey, proactively making simple changes to improve the customer experience.
  • Content Planning and Briefing
    • Plan and brief UK website promotion content with the Trading Manager, ensuring that all content is aligned with our brand strategy.
    • Plan and brief product page content with the Trading Manager, ensuring that all product information is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Plan and brief website banner content to drive sales and engagement.
    • Ensure that the digital content calendar is accurate and up-to-date, reflecting all planned content and promotions.
    • Brief digital designers for change requests on EU magazine websites, ensuring that all design elements are aligned with our brand strategy.
    • Brief copywriters and liaise with International Marketing teams on translations regarding change requests for EU magazine websites, ensuring that all content is accurate and culturally relevant.
  • Other
    • Support the Senior Digital Content Executive and Trading Manager with weekly and monthly reporting, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
    • Contribute to the eCommerce planning processes, ensuring that all plans are aligned with our business objectives.
    • Monitor benchmark and competition websites to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience working in a digital content, eCommerce, or eCommerce adjacent role.
  • Technical confidence, with experience using Content Management Systems.
  • Highly organized, with project management experience.
  • Well-practiced at using initiative, with an inquisitive attitude and a keen desire to learn and grow.
  • Commercial mindset, driven by results.
  • Team player, with an appreciation for the impact of your work on others and consideration for colleagues' priorities and goals.
  • Understanding of eCommerce.
  • Basic understanding of HTML.
  • Understanding of digital content strategy and SEO.
  • Experience working alongside creative teams to deliver digital content projects.
  • Written skills in one or more EU languages, particularly German.
