Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Team Member to join our Day Treatment Unit (DTU) team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient running of the unit. Your main duties will include providing direct patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, supervising and mentoring junior staff members, and maintaining accurate records. To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in nursing or operating department practice, registration with the relevant professional body, experience working in a similar environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to a range of benefits, including a generous holiday entitlement, opportunities for career progression and professional development, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and access to the NHS Pension Scheme. This role is based at Greenwood DTU Stamford Hospital, Ryhall Rd, Stamford, PE9 1UA.
