Chief Cardiac Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join our team as a Practice Educator. The successful candidate will lead the way in Echo training, creating and delivering bespoke training programs for our Physiologists, Scientists, and Registrars.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in teaching clinical skills and work closely with the Head of Department, Echo Lead, and the wider team to deliver the highest standard of training.
This role provides the opportunity to design, develop, and implement training programs, requiring excellent organisational skills, mentorship experience, and enthusiasm.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training programs for Echocardiography
- Lead the Echo training team and work closely with the Head of Department and Echo Lead
- Design and implement bespoke training programs for Physiologists, Scientists, and Registrars
- Provide mentorship and support to qualified staff with ongoing career development
- BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
- BSE accreditation
- Demonstrable CPD relating to Echo
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a clinical scientist
- Professional registration on the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS) or equivalent
- Recognised teaching or mentorship qualification
