## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of care in our pathology laboratory.

## Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert guidance and support to junior staff members in histology practices
* Oversee routine histology procedures, including dissection, microtomy, embedding, and troubleshooting
* Validate and assess new histology equipment to ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation standards
* Assist in the maintenance and improvement of quality management systems

## Requirements

* Relevant laboratory experience in histology with multi-disciplinary biomedical science
* Extensive histology experience, with knowledge to accompany this at specialist diploma level
* Good understanding of laboratory processes and day-to-day running of a laboratory
