Job Title: Experienced Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social worker to join our team in the Manchester area.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a qualified social worker to work within the Social Care industry, specifically in the Rochdale area. The role will involve working with families and children to provide support and protection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and core assessments for children and families.
  • Carry out Section 47 investigations to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Participate in a multi-agency capacity to support families and children.
  • Initiate care proceedings when necessary.
  • Prepare and present reports to conferences.

Requirements:

  1. SWE registration is mandatory for this position.
  2. A minimum of 1-2 years post-qualifying experience as a qualified social worker within the UK Social Care industry.
  3. An enhanced DBS/CRB certificate (we can assist with obtaining this).
  4. The ability to work in the UK.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience.
