About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our lounges and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining the highest standards of customer service and lounge operations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and a flair for talent spotting.
  • Drive sales, team retention, and customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
  • Manage rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback to ensure seamless lounge operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, labour forecasts, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, cafe, or coffee shop environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues and customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work at pace with limited supervision, while adhering to pressure and timescales.
