Becoming a Senior Product Marketing Strategist at Basware Corporation means taking on a challenging and rewarding role where you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our assigned products, buying audiences, and competitive market landscape. Your primary goal will be to create global messaging and positioning for your services portfolio to address the challenges faced by your target audience.

You will be managing buyer and market insights, value proposition, and messaging, as well as sales and marketing plans for your services portfolios. To achieve this, you will strive to become an expert in the audience-centric marketing approach, ensuring that all messaging, content, and campaign strategies are centered around customers' buying needs.

As part of this role, you will communicate the latest product innovations and service capabilities to our customer base and lead the marketing launch of new services. You will also become a subject-matter expert of your solution areas for the rest of the marketing teams. In addition, you will be responsible for evangelizing solutions in your portfolio and their key differentiators to prospects, customers, partners, and Basware employees.

To succeed in this position, you must have experience as a product manager or higher at a SaaS company. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • The ability to work independently with limited guidance on creating and overseeing the execution of marketing programs
  • Executive presence and comfort presenting to C-level executives and customers
  • Motivation to drive change and bring new ideas for best practices and process improvement
  • Collaborative leadership skills to influence and motivate marketing peers
  • Excellent communication and writing skills to native English standard

A customer-oriented mindset is essential, with demonstrable skills in developing product positioning and tailoring messages to specific buyer audiences. Additionally, you should be able to develop customer-driven buyer journeys using information gathered from buying audiences and industry reports.
