Nursery Manager Maternity Cover Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to cover a maternity leave position at our nursery in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery setting, ensuring compliance with legal and curriculum requirements, company policy, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver high-quality education and care for children.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets, marketing, and use of nursery management software.
- Support and develop the nursery team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the nursery maintains high standards of education, care, and safety for children.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant childcare qualification to level 3 or above with at least 1 year of management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS and experience in supporting staff with planning and record keeping.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current childcare legislation.
- SEN experience.
- Experience of OFSTED inspections.
