SEN Schools SEMH Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support young people with SEMH needs in schools across Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a supportive environment for students with SEMH challenges.
- Handle and de-escalate challenging behavior with confidence and professionalism.
- Provide academic assistance in Maths, English and Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Requirements:- Previous experience in secondary schools, with a background in SEMH support or Youth Work.
- A valid DBS registered on the update service.
- Caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Immediate start for the right candidate.
- Long-term, full-time contract for stability.
