Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Interim Head of Business Relationship. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and excellence through effective relationship management.

The Role

As an Interim Head of Business Relationship, you will be responsible for leading the Relationship Management practice, ensuring that they build deep and impactful relationships with customers, synthesise strategy and emergent priorities, and represent IT to and from our customers. You will also define, govern, and deliver a set of common frameworks to ensure a strong and dynamic alignment with the IT Leadership Team and senior customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Relationship Management practice, ensuring that they build deep and impactful relationships with customers
  • Define, govern, and deliver a set of common frameworks to ensure a strong and dynamic alignment with the IT Leadership Team and senior customer stakeholders
  • Deliver against agreed annual and longer-term financial plan and budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, and prioritisation
  • Act in accordance with good corporate governance principles mandated by the Group, with all delegated authority and expenditure limits, and oversee adherence to limits for direct reports

Requirements

  • Experienced communicator at all levels of the organisation with high levels of written and verbal skills and the ability to influence and convince senior leaders
  • Management experience at a senior level working with IT professionals and a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills backed by a drive for accuracy and outcomes that add value
  • Understanding of complex information and requirements backed by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in decision-making aligned with a good team-playing mentality and an ability to make sound decisions while working to tight deadlines and within constraints
  • Strong financial management
