We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Permanent Futures. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying digital tools to design and analyze building structures.

The role will involve using Python programming and Parametric Design (Rhino/Grasshopper) to create structurally optimized steel and reinforced concrete building components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and analyzing building structures using digital tools.
  2. Developing in-house design, modeling, and analysis tools.
  3. Producing CAD models and preparing them for laser-cutting.
  4. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to solve problems and provide updates on projects.
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  1. MEng degree in Civil/Structural engineering.
  2. Proven experience as a practising engineer.
  3. Competent in applying programming languages to solve problems.
  4. Strong background in structural mechanics/analysis.
