Structural Dynamics Engineer

At Permanent Futures, we are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis/Dynamics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative precast and in situ concrete solutions using cutting-edge laser-cut reinforcing technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead on projects, providing guidance and expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analysis and Design: Utilize a range of software packages and first principles to undertake analysis and design of concrete structures.
- Quality and Consistency: Ensure the quality and consistency of technical output, including drawings and reports.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare high-quality technical reports and calculations to support internal and external sign-off, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Work closely with internal teams and external parties, including experimental testing facilities and universities, to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Project Management: Keep senior management informed of project status and progress.
- Education: Qualified to MEng degree (or BEng and Masters) in Civil/Structural engineering.
- Software Skills: Proficient in the use of 3D CAD systems, such as Siemens NX or Autodesk Suite.
- Practical Experience: Demonstrable practical manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as a member of a high-performance team.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
