Structural Dynamics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis/Dynamics Engineer to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative precast and in situ concrete solutions using cutting-edge laser-cut reinforcing technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership: Act as technical lead on projects, providing guidance and expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analysis and Design: Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages and from first principles, ensuring high-quality technical output.
- Quality and Consistency: Ensure the quality and consistency of technical output, including drawings, reports, and calculations.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare high-quality technical reports and calculations to support internal and external sign-off, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Liaise and work with internal teams and external parties, including experimental testing facilities and universities, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Industry Trends and Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve design practices and enhance construction efficiency.
- Project Status Updates: Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
- Qualifications: MEng degree (or BEng and Masters) in Civil/Structural engineering.
- Software Skills: Proficient in the use of 3D CAD systems, such as Siemens NX or Autodesk Suite.
- Practical Experience: Demonstrable practical manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as a member of a high-performance team.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
